Interesting picks. A lot of what you have on this list seems like safe and solid bets.

I always start to do a post like this one at my blog but I am just never up for it. Once I have seen all of the films from 2008, I will post a MY OSCAR PICKS piece, which won't necessarily cover the films I think WILL be nominated, but rather,the films/performances/contributions that I think SHOULD be nominated.
